Will is 11 months old!

Here is what I wrote last month, and it is more true now than before: "These posts are getting later and later each month because I really dread that my "baby" is now really more of a linebacker toddler.  He is just growing up too fast.  I know everyone told me it would happen, but time is flying by."

Stats:
Weight: approximately 27 pounds?
Height: approximately 31.5 inches?

Clothes size: 18-24 months
Diapers: size 5 (I didn't even know they made 5's)

Likes:
-music...he dances all the time.  Even when he hears a noise with a steady rhythm/beat (like the washer or dryer), he will rock back and forth like he's dancing. Haha.
-watching videos of himself or other babies
-Reading the same books over and over
-riding in the shopping cart
-other kids
-taking baths

-story time at the library

Dislikes:
-When you put him at the table if there is no food in front of him.
-Being confined (either being held for too long or in his Exersaucer for too long.  He wants to get down and move all the time).
-Being buckled into his carseat.  He's really just not a fan

Working on:
-Pulling up efficiently on everything.  He can do it, but hes' pretty wobbly.
-Crawling (he still prefers the army crawl as his main mode of transportation)

Accomplishments:
-Saying mama, dada, and papa
-He can do "How big is Will? SOOOO BIG"

Typical schedule:
7:00 or 7:30-Eat 8 oz + fruit or yogurt
10:00-Nap
11:30-Eat 8 oz + veggie/starch
2:00-Nap
3:30-Eat 8 oz
5:00 - fruit + turkey and cheese (or something we're having that he can eat)
7:00-Eat 8 oz and BEDTIME

Eating:
-Drinking a bottle 4 times a day (every 4 hours)
-Usually 6-8 oz at each feed and then we do table food after that
-New foods that he tried and has really liked: guacamole, bologna, Cheerios, cheeseburger, chili, black beans, blueberries and strawberries, scrambled eggs, and scalloped potatoes and ham.

Sleeping:
-He still takes 2 naps that are about 1 hour and 20 minutes long (not a minute longer usually). His afternoon naps were pretty hit and miss as far as length.  You just wanted to practice standing and pulling up in your crib.  Thankfully, you still got a full night of sleep each night, and it was only your naps that were affected.

Will,
You have grown up so much this month as you have become more mobile and enjoy exploring everything so much more now.  You love scooting around on the floor and following me everywhere.  This month we made so many fun memories celebrating your first Thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa Kleppe, Uncle Ryan, and Uncle Tyler, going to the Bentonville Christmas parade, seeing the lights on the Fayetteville square, playing with friends, and now you eat part of my bagel at Einsteineach week too!!!  I don't mind sharing one bit.
My favorite part about this month was you learning how to say "mama." It absolutely melts my heart and is the sweetest thing EVER.
It is such a joy spending my days with you!

Love you with all my heart,
Momma
