These posts are getting later and later each month because I really dread that my "baby" is now really more of a linebacker toddler. He is just growing up too fast. I know everyone told me it would happen, but time is flying by.
Here's the progression of how taking the pictures usually goes...happy boy, sees the sign, eat the sign!
Stats:
Weight: approximately 27 pounds
Height: 31 inches
Clothes size: 18-24 months
Diapers: size 5 (I didn't even know they made 5's)
Likes:
-Tupperware containers and other kitchen gadgets approved by mommy. 
He could play with them for hours.
-Bouncy balls. He loves to crawl after them all over the room.
-Riding on our backs in the Ergo
-music...he
now can dance on command. Usually if he hears music, he will wiggle
around and he will also start to dance if you ask him to.
-watching videos of himself or other babies
-turning the pages as we read books (and even by himself). He loves loves loves this!

-dumping toys out or pulling them out one-by-one.
Dislikes:
-When we leave the room. He will now follow us. There is no leaving him in one spot anymore.
-Pooping. (We had some major constipation issues this month due to "big boy food" but pears and prunes have just been the key.)
-Being confined (either being held for too long or in his Exersaucer for too long. He wants to get down and move all the time).
-When you take away something that he wants...a toy, a cord, a remote control. Uff da. He lets you know about it.
Your personality has come out even more this month. You are such a people-person just like your daddy. You are constantly keeping tabs on everyone in the room, making sure you know where each person is at all times. It's precious. But you are determined and opinionated just like your momma. When you want something, you now go after it with all your might. You turn my head out of the way so you can reach my earrings to grab them because you just have to have them. Haha. It makes me laugh every time.
Working on:
-Saying more words. He doesn't quite say "dada" yet...it's more of "duh duh" and then he can say "buh buh" too. He has lots to say, but there are no formed words just yet.
-Crawling with BOTH arms and legs. Right now he only uses his root foot and left arm. Haha!
-Standing with help (holding on to his crib, our hands, the coffee table, etc)
Accomplishments:
-Last month he learned to army crawl. This month he got FAST at it!
-Drinking from our cups with help.
-Clapping. (Adorable!)
-Giving high fives. (Super adorable!)
Typical schedule:
7:00 or 7:30-Eat 8 oz + fruit or yogurt
10:00-Nap
11:30-Eat 8 oz + veggie/starch
2:00-Nap
3:30-Eat 8 oz
5:00 - fruit + turkey and cheese (or something we're having that he can eat)
7:00-Eat 8 oz and BEDTIME
Eating:
-Drinking a bottle 4 times a day (every 4 hours)
-Usually 8 oz at each feed
-This month he started waking up around 7:00, so his feeds were around 7:30, 11:30, 3:30, and 7:00.
-We
found that his iron-based cereal really made it hard for him to poop,
so we backed off. We're doing more fruits and veggies, and that is much
easier on his tummy. We had to up the fruit this month to make him poop (pears and prunes seem to do the trick).
-New foods that he has really liked: Greek yogurt especially with the fruit mixed in, cheesy potatoes, green bean bundles (who doesn't like bacon with their green beans?),
Sleeping:
-Daylight Savings Time was kinda tricky for him to adjust to. He is now ready to get in his pj's and go to bed around 7:00. When he is ready for bed, he is READY for bed though.
-He still takes 2 naps that are about 1 hour and 20 minutes long (not a minute longer usually). He USUALLY wakes up so so happy from naps, but this month his teeth have been BUGGING him and he got a little cough that made sleeping tough. We put a humidifier in his room that seemed to really help. He got held a LOT more in the night this month than he has since he was 2 months old. Boo teething. Not going to lie, I think it was rougher on me watching him be so uncomfortable than it was for him at times. Tylenol helps, but only for a little bit.
