Memorial Day weekend 2013

We were able to spend time with my mom and dad's families this weekend, and we had a great time. We had 25 people in my grandma's house...it gets loud and a little crazy, but I wouldn't trade the memories for anything!!! There is nothing quite like it when a big family all gets back together! :-)

My grandma Dorothy on the left and her sister, Harriet on the right. Boy, did they have some fun stories to tell:

The cousins with grandma (we missed the rest of you):

The Nervig/Kleppes with grandma:

Grandma with her kids (minus one). Big families are the only thing we know:

It was a great weekend. I just want to thank all the people that have served or are serving our country. Freedom is not free, and thank you is not enough. The whole time we were at my grandma's, I was thinking about my grandpa, who was in the Philippines in WWII. He knew how to love his wife, kids, and grand kids so well!! Love you, grandpa!! A big thank you to Matt's grandpa Jack who served in the Air Force. He was SUCH a great man, and we miss him so much!

Happy Memorial Day everyone!
