I Corinthians 1:25

"This 'foolish' plan of God is far wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God's weakness is far stronger than the greatest of human strength."  --1 Cor. 1:25

I read this this morning after finding out yesterday that a 4th grade student in our district was killed on the playground after a soccer goal post fell on him.  His older brother is at my school.  My heart is so heavy for this family, and in situations like this, we all end up asking the question "Why God??"  I have no answer for that question...


However, thankfully I am confident in our God.  I am confident in his love, power, strength, grace, and comfort all of which never change (Hebrews 13:8  "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.")  

Today I'm thankful for a wise and loving God, whose plans--even though I may not fully understand--are always far better than my own.
