This is not the first year we've set goals at the beginning of the year, but it is the first time we've actually taken the time to reflect on how we're doing. Since we are 1/4 of the way through 2013, I thought it would be a good time to pause and reflect a little, so this week you'll hear how we're doing in certain areas.
One of our goals for this year was to read more non-fiction. MK's goal was slightly loftier than mine. His goal was to read a non-fiction book every month, while mine was simply to read 3 this year. (You've got to start somewhere right?!?)
Here's how we're doing so far:
MK:
1. Killing Kennedy
2. Ruthless Trust
3. After Camelot--still working on it! He is on a JFK kick......
KK:
1. Killing Kennedy--not quite finished yet!
2. Stuck by Jennie Allen
3. Streams in the Desert (a daily devotional--obviously not quite finished yet)
4. Calm My Anxious Heart--still working on this one!
(Even though it appears like I've read more, that's not true. I can't even tell you how many fiction books he has read in addition to all of these. The dude is such a fast reader. It amazes me!!!!!!!)
What are you reading now? Any good suggestions?
