Will is 18 months!

On Tuesday, Will was 18 months! Time is just flying by, and to be honest, I wish time would slow down. He is doing new things each and every day, growing and changing so much!  Each stage is fun, but I am ready to be done with teething (can I get an "amen!?") 

Will's stats:

-Weight: 31 pounds

-Height: 36 inches (he grew 3 inches in 3 months!!!) 

-Diaper size: 6

-Teeth: all his teeth and 2 two-year molars are coming in. I can see one more that's just about to poke through too!

-Clothing size: 2T for shorts and pants, 2T/3T for shirts 

Sleep:

-His bedtime is around 7:30pm. He wakes up around 7:00am. 

-He takes one nap now at around 12:00pm. This week he has been taking short naps (he has cut 2 two-year molars, poor guy) but normally he sleeps 2-3 hours in the afternoons and it's glorious because he doesn't stop moving when he's awake!

Likes:

-Walking around! He wants to walk EVERYWHERE (at the park, down the street, in the store, on the trails, from his room to our living room, but especially outside) even if it's not a great place for walking. 

-Playing with his cousins and friends! 

-Playing with cars! Loves to push them, crash them, drive them, and put them in and out of bucket of cars. He also makes a mean car noise!

-Reading books (quickly!)

-Playing at the park.

-Pushing all buttons (including mine from time to time!!) :-)

-Watching Chugginton and Thomas the Train. 

-Playing at the splash park and pool, but prefers to just walk around and talk to people at both places. 

-Exploring wherever we go! 

Dislikes:

-Diaper changes.

-Being told no." 

-Sitting still or being confined in a high chair.

Food:

-He is not as interested in eating when he's getting teeth, but obviously it hasn't slowed him down too much. Haha! 

-His favorite foods right now are: Mexican food of any kind, brocolli, carrots, pears, and peaches. 

Accomplishments/Working on:

-Says: mama, daddy, go, baw (for ball and balloon), Nana, Pa, Papa, Ty, yeah, buh (for bird and bug), yuck, nigh-nigh. 

-Can do sounds for cow, sheep, horse, puppy, kitty, green dragon, crocodile, car/truck, tractor, tiger, lion, 

-Imitates me lining things up and counting them. He even has voice inflection and his voice goes up as he counts. Haha.

-Trying to run. Its tough when you're chubby. :-)

-Wrestling on the floor! 

-Finally mastered a sippy cup that you have to tip (he always just used the kind with straws). 

-Can climb on the couch with help. Still not much of a climber. 

-Still working on coming to mama and daddy when called. He definitely has a mind of his own!

-Has discovered people in pictures and can point out the right person in the picture when I say "Where's Grammy? Where's Aunt Wendi?"

-Last weekend he made it through his first Sunday at church without crying. Like at all. I. Was. Shocked. Such a proud mama moment!! Hopefully this week will be just as wonderful! 

-Is pretty good at sharing (sometimes). He loves to take toys to other kids, but obviously is not a fan of things being taken from him. 

-Working on throwing. He's got a good arm!

-Dressed like a cow for Cow Appreciation Day and had so much fun "mooing" the entire time.
