Tulsa Zoo and Aquarium

For my birthday this year, we had planned to go to the Tulsa Zoo and Aquarium, but we were all under the weather (and it was a rainy weekend) so our trip got postponed to this past weekend. It turned out perfect. The weather was sunny and beautiful, and we had the best time.  

Will's favorite animal sounds are the elephant and lion, so those were our favorite stops because he knew exactly what they were! 

We had the best time exploring, and Will loved being outside where he could walk around. 

He loved the playground and this miniature boat that he "drove." 

The train ride was the highlight of the trip. Will loved it! And he was so tired by that point. 

So sleepy....

And 5 minutes after we put him in his car seat, he was out!

We rested up at the hotel, ordered pizza, took a dip in the pool (which Will was less than thrilled by), and it was an early night for Will!  

The next day we did the Tulsa Aquarium. It was a little less interesting to Will than the zoo, but he enjoyed it and he loved exploring and walking around by himself. 

We all loved the shark tank! 

Will's favorite thing....pushing a button and seeing the shark light up! Haha. It's the little things, right?

Overall, we had a great weekend. It was fun to get away and to relax. As long as Will had the freedom to get down and walk walk walk, he was a happy camper! We will definitely be returning to the zoo/aquarium again!!! Thanks Papa and Nana for going with us. We had a blast!
